I have been silent long enough and been good but allow me this moment of standing up verbally. I think we Malaysians are selective on who is innocent. Have you heard of Razak Baginda? He is my father. He has faced a trial. Correction, he is facing a trial. People call it a farce. Then I put it to you that his year in prison is also a farce. This counts for nothing apparently. No one realises this, we conveniently ignore this fact. I mean, who thinks prison is glamarous anyway? Me talking to my father through a glass is not so glamarous either. I am personally disappointed, not to mention angry at this selectiveness. I think we should be honest with ourselves. An innocent man can come in many forms. Be surprised that Razak Baginda is innocent.
Because he is.
Wake up.

kuching cat, my father is innocent. and this is the truth i know. and the only truth i care about. i do not concern myself with conspiracy theories as a lot of people out there are. you already have formed an answer in your mind about who you think is guilty.

Blowing someone into bits and pieces is no joke. Conspiracy or not, someone's flesh was ripped to pieces with explosives. The truth... only God knows. Most of us concerns about the truth. But everybody says they tell the truth. Your father is probably guilty until proven innocent type of case. While in some other high profile cases, it is innocent until proven guilty type. You may ponder for a while what and who determines such? Probably the evidences that they found were against your father? As for me, I would ask, is there something wrong with our laws and systems? If the system says, these are the only few people involved, then the investigators will not investigate other possibilities? Whether you like to here this or not, I personally felt something is very wrong with our systems.

Your father might be innocent of the murder but he willingly take the fall for the true murderer. Hiding the truth is equal to abetting the crime. I understand he could be threatened by powerful forces to keep his mouth shut or put his family life at stake. After all the the man with C4 is still at loose.

I am sorry but I think you sound a bit arrogrant in the word "Wake Up"
I think you should wake up to the fact that all this farce is like a chess game.
You should also wake up to the fact that your dad is not the highest ranking officer in Malaysia, your dad has DPM and PM and other Ministers above him.
You should also wake up to the fact that like the game of chess, smaller pieces like pawns, knights, bishops, rooks and queens are sacrificed to protect the King.
So in this case, whether your dad is innocent or otherwise, your dad will be sacificed to protect those whose ranking is higher than him. A mongolian has died. Surely someone must have killed her. Surely someone must have ordered the kill ? So, who is it ? Maybe you can let us know ?
You must also wake up to the fact that in this case, a Mongolian lady has died. She also has children. And her children are in worse situation than you. You should also wake up to the fact that their lives is worth no less and no more than yours.
If you think you are a victim, don't you think the Altantuya and her families are victims too ? I saw the conduct of your family outside the court, especially your mum screaming at them. Isn't that arrogrant ? What makes you all think you are all higher class than the Mongolian family. Even if you think she is a prostitute, she has as much right to live in this world as you, no more no less. All human beings are born equal in this world irrespective of whether they are rich or poor. The problem with rich people used to having good life usually is that they forget the poor has as much right to live in this earth as them, no more no less.

In fact, the whole Malaysia also want to know who is/are the quilty one(s). Kuching cat's question is perfectly constructive.
You said that you know that your dad is innocent. But based on what ? You have seen the killer actually blow up the C4 and killed the Mongolian girl therefore you know it is not your dad ? Or you based it on what your dad said to you ? Did you ever realize that Daddy also tell lotsa lies to their daughters (not refering to you dad but in general). So based on what ?
Also be prepared, what happen if (I am not forming my mind, I say "IF") evidence are later put forward in court that your dad is guilty ? What if later video or picture of your dad are produced in court ? When that happens, you still believe your dad is innocent ? Are you prepared for that possibility ?

You are not the only ones to suffer this in Malaysia so stop protraying as if you are the only victim. You said you ONLY care about you dad is innocent. How can you be so selfish ? Altanyuya's childeren and family are innocent too. You should not treat them as enemies. The conduct of your family toward them during the court case was immature, despicable and downright rude.
So be strong and most importantly be humble (don't be a snob and arogrant like your mum). Whatever happens, we as Muslims must accept that all these adalah kehendak Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala and we shall not question His wisdom.

Maybe there is some truth in what superbabbonmonster said. It is better to keep quiet if you know your family is already quilty, whether in whole or in part.
If you cannot rebut other people's comment, just admit it but do not be like baboon who conviniently brushed it aside and deemed it as creative and foolish comments. Be brave and confront reality.
Ask yourself the following questions:
1) Did your dad have an affair with Altantuya ? (Hint: Didn't your dad admitted to this in his affidavit ?)
2) Did your dad have sex with Altantuya ? (Hint: If your dad travel all over the world with her, you believe he didn't do it with her ?)
3) Did your dad commited aldultry ?
4) Does your dad's behaviour in line with the values you brought up with ?
5) What is your mum so proud about in the behaviour of your dad ?
6) Is your dad's behaviour in line with the teaching of Islam ?
If it is hurtful to answer the above, it is alright, pray to Allah and ask for forgiveness. Be brave and step out of the snobbish surrouding you. Be a leader and first change your mum.
Facts are facts and you cannot change it. Don't try to believe a lie just because it makes you feel better.

Why talk about lousy father jus because they brought up questions that is difficult to answer but relevant questions indeed. In fact, the real lousy father is regretably her own dad because her dad had an affair with Altantuya.
What is so unislamic about the questions they post ? I think superbaboon must progress with time and understand the islamic teachings. Islam call for justice and Islam ask their to be brave and asked questions to seek justice.
Islam do not condone rude behaviour like the ones protrayed by rowena's mum at the court. And certainly, Islam do not condone the aldultry behaviour of her dad too.

I will be straight and direct here. So, whether you like it or not, too bad. But I shall speak the truth.
Yes, I mean all Malaysian with common sense already know that Razak Baginda did not kill Altantuya. And Razak Baginda did not order the killing of Altantuya. And the truth is Razak Baginda also did not have an affair with Altantuya.
So, is Razak Baginda then innocent ? Well, "Yes" and "No".
Firstly, let's go straight to the point. Who ordered the killing of Altantuya ? The truth is, it is NOT Najib. The person who ordered the killing comes from Najib's wife, Rosmah.
Secondly, why does Rosmah wants Altantuya killed ? Answer is Rosmah is dead jealous about the sleazy sexual affair Najib has been having behind Rosmah's back. Altantuya is Najib's mistress and Rosmah is pissed with this.
So, what has this got to do with Razak Baginda ? Well, since the C4 has been used to kill Altantuya and the case suddenly has become a public scrutiny, Najib has to cover up for his wife. Najib also has to cover up his sexual affair with Altantuya.
So for this, Najib has to rope in his most trusted aide, Razak Baginda to take the rap. The deal is Razak shall shoulder and take all the blame and in due time, Najib will find a way to clear Razak of the charges. So, Razak in his affidavit said that Altantuya is his mistress.
Razak got bail and managed to stay at home while the case got dragged in Court. But by the 3rd appearance, something unexpected happened, it did not go to plan. The judge refused to grant Razak bail. As a result, Razak is reprimanded in jail until now. This really pissed Razak because Najib cannot discharged and make good his side of the deal. Najib is also pissed, so as the result the judge is changed and postponed and replace with a new and more junior judge.
That is why until now, the case is dragging is feet. Najib has not find a fuull-proof way to conspire Razak's release. Najib is also too busy with other things like fabricating the sodomy case against Anwar. Finding the right person willing to make a false sumpah, setting and fabricating up the case all takes a lot of coordinationa and time to plan.
So, Razak's camp actually should not be too worried because eventually Razak will be released, it is just that Najib has not managed to pull it off. But then again, there is a possibility that with his political position now also in tatters and jeopardy, Najib may just find the easy way out by finishing off Razak, yes he may want Razak to be killed and dead because Razak already know too much. Killing Razak comes into Najib's equation now, so we still do not know what he intend to do.
So, the question is whether Razak is innocent ? Well, yes he is innocent in the sense that he did not order or kill Altantuya. Razak did not have an affair with Altantuya.
But Razak is guilty of being part of the conspiracy. In fact, Rowena is also guilty because she knows the truth but chose to remain silent.
Rowena, it is time to be brave and reveal the truth, not only to clear your dad's name but also as a righteous Islam, Islam yang beriman, this is what you have to do.
And I hope you will perform your duty as a Islam. Do not worry about the repurcussion because at the end of the day, Allah yang menentukan. You only have to have the strength to reveal the truth.
